What to Expect

If you are looking for a church home or you haven't been to church in a while, we know that going to a new church can be challenging. Here's what you can expect when you visit Verbena Baptist Church.

As You Enter The Worship Center

Greeters are available to assist you should you have any questions or special needs.

During Our Worship Service

You are welcome here. We ask that you fill out the attendance tab in the worship guide, tear it off, and place it in the offering plate when offering is collected during the service.

Our Worship Services

We have Small Group Bible Studies at 10 am and our worship gathering is at 11:00 am. You will experience a blended worship service led by our worship leader Rachel Ellis. It is our desire for you to understand the scriptures from both a historical context and how to apply it to your everyday life. Dress is casual. We are laid back and have close family atmosphere.

If You Have A Baby

Parents take advantage of a nursery where your child will find loving caregivers and a fun learning environment.

Children's Church

We have a children's worship service designed specifically for your young child. We will dismiss your child to children's church following the morning offering.

After The Service

We would love to meet you. Feel free to talk to the pastor who will be available during and following the response time of our service. He would love to talk to you about any questions you may have about the church and how you can get more involved at Verbena Baptist

Our Beliefs

We are a Baptist Church that voluntarily cooperates with the Chilton Baptist Association, The Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions, and the Southern Baptist Convention. A summary of our beliefs is contained in The Baptist Faith and Message 2000 which can be found here
